More stuff available on Etsy

Egyptian script magnets.

Some more items have been made available in the Celtic Soul Jewelry and Pottery Etsy shop, including Egyptian script magnets, a brown mortar and pestle, and a kitty paw flower vase.

Mugs taken to PolkaDot

Some of my wife's handmade coffee mugs.

My wife took a bunch of coffee mugs over to the PolkaDot, a shop over on 1577 S. Pearl Street (Denver, Colorado). Here are some pictures of some of the mugs that she took over there.

I really love how this mug turned out.

I posted more pictures in one of the folders on the Celtic Soul Jewelry and Pottery Facebook fanpage.

More pottery delivered to the PolkaDot

Dragonfly necklaces.

On Friday, my wife delivered some more pottery to PolkaDot, a shop over on 1577 S. Pearl Street (Denver, Colorado). Among the items delivered were these three dragonfly necklaces. I understand that these are going to be displayed immediately. (The coffee mugs are not going to be displayed for a few more days--I will post pictures of them next week.)

First peek of September kiln firing

The inside of the coffee mugs.

Nice coffee mugs.

Pet Urns.

Here is a first peek at the most recent glaze firing. The coffee mugs are going to be sent to PolkaDot, a local shop. The pet urns will go to Pet's Paradise, or perhaps Etsy--camera boy is not sure.

Rocky Mountain Dock Dogs

The other day, my wife donated one of her dog paw bowls to the local Dock Dog chapter, Rocky Mountain Dock Dogs. The bowl will be part of their fund raising events. Talking to the lady who came by to pick up the bowl, I learned a little about this particular sport. Let's be honest, I didn't even realize that there was such a sport in the first place. One of the things that surprised me was how expensive it was to haul the dock around, which is why we have a local Dock Dog chapter here in this state.

And Rocky Mountain Dock Dogs will be at Broomfield Days, their fourth time there, on September 15th and 16th, 2012.

If you would like one of Toni's dog paw bowls, she sells them on Etsy, in her Celtic Soul Jewelry and Pottery shop.

Shakespeare's Monkey

Morgan here--the person who does all the photography--as you may or may not know, I am also a writer. And this is a bit of shameless self-promotion.

Today (well technically until Friday September 14, 2012), you can get a free copy of my ebook Shakespeare's Monkey when you enter coupon code EX49A at the checkout. Why free today? Well, one of the stories contained in this volume was based on 9/11--apologizes to the dozen people that I blended together to create the characters (it was creative license)--and today is as good of a day to share that piece of fiction as any other.

Two of the doggy paw bowls

There is a video walk around of two doggy paw bowls that my wife makes on the potter's wheel. One of them is Royal Blue; the other is Forest Green. Both are food and dishwasher safe because pets should not have to worry about things like that. Both are available from my wife's Celtic Soul Jewelry and Pottery Etsy store.
